Good tidings to all…

‘Tis the season…almost!  Looks as though Christmas is already on many people’s minds…I have two confirmed dates (December 10th and 15th) and a likely date (Dec 5th) for Christmas shows!  Please check my LIVE section for details.

The nice thing about this time of year is that a lot of very worthy causes which need year-round support inevitably receive increased attention and contributions over the next couple of months.  One of the three shows I’m playing, for example, will be helping to benefit the Starlight Starbright Foundation (Centennial Theater, Whitby, ON – Dec 15th).  Another will give proceeds to the Special Olympics (December 5th – Toronto location TBA).  Needless to say, it always feels good to be a part of a worthy cause…or two…or three!  So if you can join me at any or all of these gigs, I would appreciate it.  Every little bit helps.  Wherever you choose to go… whatever you choose to do…here’s hoping that this Christmas season (and Hanukkah, et al…), and throughout the entire year, you will choose to help those in need whenever possible.  We’re all in this together after all…Peace.

Runner-Up at INDIE WEEK!!!

First off, I want to thank Darryl Hurs and all those involved with TORONTO INDIE WEEK, held this past Thursday through Saturday.  It was a great event to play at!  I met some terrific artists and industry folk…it was all good!

Now despite having a nasty cold, I was able to eke out a berth in the finals for solo artists Saturday night!  I ended up coming a very close second (apparently) to a wonderfully original singer from New York, named Miwa.  Congrats again to her, a very deserving winner!  A warm shout out also goes to the other finalist of the night, Dave Borins – an energetic and entertaining singer with a kick- ass rhythm section!  I’m sure you’ll be hearing a lot more from him soon.

I was also able to catch my buddies – Matt Humphreys and Allister Bradley - doing their sets on Thursday night…all I can say is I’m not sure how those guys weren’t in the finals too…both did a superb job, as always!

So all in all, it was a successful weekend…THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT TO SUPPORT ME – you are the reason i keep making music…because God knows it isn’t for the CASH!

Next up on the agenda is my 30-minute set at Cadillac Lounge this coming Sunday, October 22nd at 4:30 PM.  It’s part of their monthly Songwriters Expo, organized and hosted by the lovely and talented Monique Barry.  Please come check it out…there will be several other performers, including Monique.  Hope to see you there!

BACK FROM THE BEACH!!!

Hey, all!

Well, I’m back from Dewey Beach!  10 1/2 HOUR drive each way…ALONE…but it was well worth it!  I showcased twice - a daytime set in the trade show hall, which was so-so…and a Saturday night gig at a place called “Booksandcoffee”, which was TERRIFIC!

I was very well received, and made a ton of new friends, fans and contacts.  I really want to thank Vikki Walls, who organized the whole event, as well as her staff of assistants and the sound crew…the food and drinks were free for a couple of the gatherings (VIP events which INCLUDED the ARTISTS – WOW!)  Definitely the most welcoming and best organized conference I’ve ever attended…and I’ve attended quite a few!

So now it’s back to Toronto to “grow that fan base”…and then I’m sure I’ll be off to the States soon enough for a little “gig swapping” with local artists…all part of the master plan for WORLD DOMINATION…or at least a few great stories.  Cheers!

Pete’s professional product

People… as a plump percentage of these pages pertain primarily to the promotion of Pete’s professional product, for a particularly precise perspective on this powerful performer’s persona, please proceed to the BloomBlog and peer at a plentiful page packed with Pete’s personal postings. Pore over pretty pictures, playful ponderings, pressing plans, pent-up points of view, and pangs of paranoia! Pop in and peruse this priceless panorama of paraphernalia periodically, as Pete’s project progresses. Put it on your list of preferred places, plus perhaps pass it on to people who, perchance, will potentially prove to be as passionate about Pete! It’s a perfectly painless and pleasant pastime… period.

Phew! So… This is the place to gain a little insight into Pete’s world beyond his songs, through his own words and images. Enjoy!

MORE COMING SOON!
